• Fondant au chocolat

Chocolate cake with crunchy rind and mellow filling that can be served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Although its name in English comes from French, this confectionery is actually called moelleux au chocolat (“chocolate chewy“) or fondant au chocolat (“chocolate melty“) in French.

  • Fruit Crumble

AKA brown betty, the crumble is not French but is a dish of British origin. Apple, pear, berries, or a combination topped with a crumbly mixture of butter, flour and sugar. The crumble is baked in our oven until the topping is crisp. Delicious if served warm with local cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Let’s travel to Bordeaux with this small French pastry with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust. Subtle rum flavor : you will soon become addicted to it ! (Patrick’s favourite!)
